1930 Ford Model A
The Ford Model T put America on the road, but by 1927 it had become obsolete.
So in 1928 Henry Ford replaced it with the Model A.
Prices ranged from $385 for a basic roadster to $570 for a top-of-the-line Fordor (four-door).
Powered by a 201 cubic-inch four-cylinder motor, the Model A returned an impressive 20 to 30 miles per gallon
(recall that gas cost a whopping 5 cents per gallon in those days!).
In a nod to the demands of the marketplace, Model As were available in four colors
(Model Ts were available only in black " You can have any color you want as long as it's black" Henry Ford ).
Ford ultimately produced 4,320,446 Model As.
This Model A is finished in a delightful two tone olive and mint green with black vinyl roof.
It has been restored and is in perfect running condition, just waiting for that next trip down Route 66!
Guaranteeing the new owner years of enjoyment.
