EAGLE ROCKIN' RODDERS AND CUSTOM CAR CLUB

March 2000

Hello Eagle Rock and Cyber Cruisers Everywhere,

Well another month has passed by, and like I said last month Christmas is just around the corner.

The February cruise night went off well, had a lot of cars and brave souls putting up with the nippy weather. The rain held off for a day, so that was nice.

What do you do if you live in an apartment with no garage, and you want to build a hot rod. Well of course, you build it in your living room. Seems funny, not if you are member Thomas Strojin. Thomas bought a 1929 Modal A roadsterbody a few months back. Then bought the 327 small block Chevy engine and put it on a cart in his bedroom. Then he ordered a new 1932 Ford frame ,
which now sits in his living room, just waiting for all the little doodads to be attached. God willing it might be running by the end of summer.

Did I mention that Thomas is single, it helps some times in this hobby.  March 7th is coming up soon. Have you figured out for what and whom you will be voting. Remember you can't gripe, unless you vote.

Check out Lowrider magazine in the coming months. I don't know yet which issue, but yours truly will be in the magazine, with a 1965 Buick Riviera.  The company I work for did the re-manufacture of the engine and I will be doing the installation.

Well that's it for this month.

Just cruisin', Conrad
